- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $65/hr and with enough information I can estimate how long it will take to finish a task, too! I like to give a reasonable estimate of the job, and if I end up over-bidding I will gladly inform the customer and not charge them for time I did not spend working. On the other side of that coin, I wont give a quote and then raise the price after I am done with the work! I will talk to my customer about any problems that arise and give them any information to help save them time, money or frustration later on down the road.
