We suffered some shingle damage during recent strong winds so we needed to get some repairs done asap to get the house weather tight.
Perfection In Home Renovations came back with a very reasonable quote and could come out the next day (luck of timing, they were just in between jobs), where others were telling me the next week at the earliest.
They arrived when they said they would, but the wind was STILL way to strong to be climbing on a steep, second story roof. After checking things over, they told me they would come back the next morning - and they did!
The damage ended up being about double what it was when I received the initial repair quote, but the roof was repaired in short order and for a very reasonable cost. I am quite happy.

Needed my roof repaired, well completely replaced. Went on home advisor and then was contacted by PIHR through thumbtack. They were there w/in a day to take a look at my roof and came back with a quote almost right away. Had several of the big names around Wausau come in several thousand dollars higher. Sam and Pam are very down to earth and are no frills, just straight hard work ethic. Let me know about the shingles they were using and their benefits along with what needed to be done with my roof. Had no problem tearing off 2 layers of tar shingles, a layer of wood shingles and re-decking the whole roof. Very impressed with the whole project and they were done w/in the week, including clean up. I highly recommend PIHR on any roofing project!! Wish I had more projects for them. VERY IMPRESSED AND THANK YOU!!!

Quick response from wife and one from husband in two separate "bids" on THUMBTACK. He came over to view the job and give a bid. After looking on the lowest end of the roof he said that he could fix it right away. And then it was $100.00 to do it. I cannot afford to pay ANY contractors $600.00 (!) an hour for ANY WORK!!! He took 10 minutes to apply tar to an area around a ceiling vent pipe on the roof. Did not take credit card. And had no paperwork. He told me that he would get back to me with a bid for the internal ceiling damage. Never heard back. Would NOT have even moved forward using any of his services or contacts. Very unethical and unprofessional!!!
