I hired Christine for my wife’s birthday and she did an amazing job! Everyone who was there are big time foodies who love to cook. Everyone was so impressed with the menu (I’ll talk more about this in a moment) that we’ve already decided to hire her again for a couple future get-togethers. As to the menu, she has several suggestions to choose from though what you decide on follows what can be as in-depth a discussion as you like. We have some very real life-threatening food allergies in the family and Christine came up with very creative (and very delicious) ways to adjust the menu. So let’s talk value. For the time Christine spent on us and with us, coupled with the appetizers, salad (salad is not an adequate description for what she made) main course and sides, plus dessert!! Could’ve paid the same for a high end restaurant with far less food, much less time and not had the ability to relax with friends and family at a very leisurely pace... Yeah, I said plenty of food... Everyone went home with a to-go container (supplied by Christine). She’s such a great personal chef with amazing personality who doesn’t mind half the guests asking 20 questions while looking over her shoulder. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step 1- I like to meet in person initially but communication via email to discuss details is fine too. Step 2- Send a proposal Step 3- Once a menu is agreed upon and down-payment is made, I will provide a tasting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've worked in the catering industry for more than 13 yrs, cooking for 24 all together. Studied culinary arts at Scottsdale Community College after cooking for 12 yrs.
