Beate is a spacial genius. Our closets didn’t fit all of our items; they were a mess. Everything overflowing; we couldn’t find half of the things we needed. Somehow, within a couple hours she organized and categorized our items into relevant sections; everything had its place. She arranged things in a way that would make it pretty hard not to keep the order flowing. And amazingly we ended up with extra space. I don’t know how she did it. But I can’t recommend her enough. Our situation caused me so much stress; I just wish I found her sooner. She relieved an ongoing nagging burden. It’s like a weight’s been lifted. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our organizing sessions have a 4 hour minimum. The full balance is due at the end of each session. Hourly rate will apply in 1/4 hour increments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The initial estimate can be done by email or phone using photos and descriptions or we can arrange a pre assessment visit. We will decide together on a plan and set an organizing goal and talk about storage solutions. First we will empty the space to be organized, categorize and presort in a staging area to be reviewed by the client. Items will end up in a "Keep" "Donate" "Trash" and "Other" pile. Pretty simple! After we go through all the inventory, we end up what will go back into the space, I will consider flow, functionality and aesthetics. At the end of the session we put trash in your trash bins and take donations to a charitable cause, if so desired. This way my clients don't have to deal with any loose ends after their space is organized. Clients will be present for the entire time of the session and will make the decisions, we will never discard anything without asking first. Don't worry clients will have time in between to take breaks while we get busy. We value every client's belongings and treat everyone with respect and confidentiality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked for many organizing companies in the greater LA area as a subcontractor in the field the last few years which has helped me to gain experience in different organizing situations and work with people from all walks of life.
