FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typical job like this would be billed at $65 an hour for one journeyman and then $30 per hour for each helper if they are necessary, plus any material used on the job. We do hold a one year warranty on most parts and some of them hold a three year warranty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Exchange contact info, examine the job to be done, discuss all the options. Decide on the best choice for the customer, give a bid, quote or rate. Wait for a counter offer and the OK on beginning the project. Pending the type of job there may be a need for a partial payment during the project in order to keep cash flow. Certain projects may require alternate contracts to be written up for specifics.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of my training has been on the job training. I have taken 20 or more code classes over the years with a total of well over a hundred hours of code training courses.
