FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The easy answer is yes, I have a guide that I use for pricing. The quality of my work speaks for itself and allows me to charge at the price point that I do. From there, my rates are based on the type of job, number of attendees, time required to shoot, distance travelled to work and expectation. My schedule will also play a role in pricing. For instance, a wedding in the off-season or during the middle of the week will cost less than a wedding on a Saturday during the prime seasons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to listen to potential clients because photography is about working together. Customer satisfaction is based on communication. Phone calls are great starter and if the client is local grabbing a coffee or a cocktail is also an option.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I picked up a 110 camera in second grade and the rest was history. I have been in love with the camera ever since.
