- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate plus the cost of parts for my irrigation services. I give a 10% discount to Senior Citizens and to current and former military personnel. Pricing for projects such a landscaping, landscape lighting, sod installation, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fencing are estimated on a per project basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with clients my first priority is to listen and discover what their need or needs are. After hearing the needs I will offer solutions to fit those needs and do my best to explain the reasoning for the solution that I offer. Once the client understands the solution then I will give them an estimate so they can decide if they would like to continue to do business with us. My goal is not to just sell a job. I want to help educate my clients so they feel informed and comfortable with their decision to do business with us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned and operated a lawncare and landscaping business. I sold that business and went to work for a leading distributor in the green industry that makes training their employees in the field of irrigation, hardscapes, landscape lighting synthetic turf and many other areas a top priority. I obtained my Texas Irrigation license and continue to earn CEU credits to maintain that license. I also have a background in construction as it relates to fencing and other areas.
