FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work non-profits when our values align. I have a sliding scale for paying customers ranging from $75 - $150 an hour, depending on the size of the venue and sponsor. I charge $1/minute when working with individual customers during local events that I vend at regularly. My minimum patronized event charge covers two hours. I also charge a travel fee of $3 per 10 miles for any distance greater than 20 miles from downtown Grand Rapids. The travel fee mostly covers the cost of gas (it doesn't even cover depreciation or travel time!).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just communication and feedback. I make sure we are always on the same page and know what to expect from each other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a professional artist for well over 25 years. And I've worked with facepaint for over a decade.
