FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be fair and comparable in my pricing! There are many factors that go in to the final price; these may include travel, size of art and scope of project, and medium. I am very price conscious myself and look for the best deal for my clients without shorting myself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer a personal phone conversation at some point so I can really get a sense of who the customer is, and so they can get to know me a little before setting up a project. It is so difficult to get a sense for someone through the written (or typed) word alone. I try to honor the customers' preferences and I hope to meet expectations! Different projects require different approaches, and I try to remain flexible in my process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Aquinas College in Liberal Arts, and an Associates Degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in Visual Communications. I was in a dual enrollment at both colleges in an affiliated program and took Art and Photography through both institutions. I am a parent, a volunteer, and an independent artist. I teach art through Continuing Studies classes at KCAD and with a few Community Ed programs in addition to offering private instruction.
