Introduction: Hello. I am a J Brown, a local body therapist. I have received multiple massage modalities since 2000 because I have been searching for relief from muscle skeleton issues since 1998. In 2009, I went to school and received only half of the training I need to do my best for your pain relief. The rest I have received through personal experience and by working with multiple LMTs, chiropractors, and physical therapist over the last 10 years. I am dedicated to giving actual muscle therapy much more then a spa treatment, relaxing massage, or just rubbing oil all over someone, which results in clogged pores. To get the best results from massage, the practitioner must have a thorough understanding of kinesiology, anatomy and physiology, and how the myofacial tissue interconnects not only through out the body, but also how it connects through the muscle layers. My body work has several medical benefits and is not superficial. The muscle therapy I perform provides lymph drain, cleans the muscle tissue out at all layers thoroughly and removes myofacial restrictions. It also resets muscle length to return the body to it's proper structure. This muscle work has been described as very thorough, leaving no muscle untreated.
