Introduction: I have been fortunate enough to pursue my passion for music and share the joy and beauty of playing piano with my students for more than ten years. I tailor lessons to each student and my priority is to discover their strengths, provide a holistic music-learning experience and help students improve musicianship.
Creating musical communications is my interest and passion. Whether the student is a young beginner, a mature music enthusiast or an experienced piano player, I will design lessons based on their needs and individual styles of learning, and foster all kinds of skill developments such as sight-singing, ensemble playing, improvisation, transposition, composition, sight-reading, and music theory. More importantly, my teachings also combine the principal ideas of Taubman Approach and Alexander Technique, my goal is to help students to be healthy and have fun in playing piano, and they will be equipped with sufficient piano techniques to explore all the music they are interested to learn.
Based in Greeley, I am pursuing my doctoral piano performance degree at UNC, so lessons can be at the campus where my students have access to play on grand pianos.ty
