- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a client contacts us by calling Click Treat Training Academy or by filling out a contact form on the company's website. We have a 15 minute phone consult on what services they would like and what they are looking for. For clients looking for training we set up a date and choose a training package that fits their needs. Then one of our tutors goes to their home to conduct the training session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently the owner and operator of Click Treat Training Academy is Laura Van Remortel. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is a Graduate with Distinction from the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training and Behavior. She is currently a certified evaluator for every level of the Canine Good Citizen program. She currently works at her local shelter as well to help with dog evaluations and training programs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with a variety of different clients all with different types of training needs. Examples include basic puppy manners, dogs that have reactivity issues or dogs that will simply not listen to cues and many more. Call us today and let us know how we can help you and your pet.
