- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $45 per couple / per hour if you come to us or $75 per couple / per hour if we travel to you. You pay as you go. There are no binding contracts to sign or advance payments to make. When you feel you've received enough instruction, you can stop. You also have the option of transitioning to class room dance instruction as your confidence level progresses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll take you through a beginner's process in which you will learn the basic foundations of Urban Ballroom. Acquiring a strong and solid foundation is very important because everything that you learn going forward depends on it. Once a strong foundation is established, we begin teaching you various dance moves and technique that are going to make you and your partner feel confident and look very good on the dance floor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sharzine and I received five years of Detroit Urban Ballroom dance instruction from qualified dance instructors in class, private and workshop settings. We continue to grasp every opportunity to learn, develop and grow in the dance we love so well. For us, learning is an ongoing venture. We receive dance training/instruction, as well as teach, every week.
