FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
So you're curious as to booking a boudoir session, but you're super nervous, right? That's completely normal! It's OK to be nervous! Here's the run down to maybe take away some of your anxiety. Booking: Defining Boudoir requires 50% non-refundable retainer fee to make and keep your session time. We do this to reserve the studio time and more importantly, so you keep your own session and not chicken out. ;) Pre-Consultation: From reserving your time, we then do a pre-consultation to determine your personality, body type, what to wear, what to order, and we’ll go over the contract. The Session: Then, the fun part! The session! Every session is only done by a female photographer. When you arrive at the studio, you can treat yourself to some drink and chocolates and get pampered by getting your makeup done by a professional cosmetologist. Then we’ll lay out whatever outfits (or lack thereof) that you’ve brought and determine where to start. You don’t have to know how to pose at all: that’s my job! :) We’ll turn on some music and have some fun! The sessions are very flowy—movements, dancing, laughing, twirling, etc. It’s always about making sure you feel great and sexy and empowered! Reveal & Ordering Appointment: After your session, we’ll set up a reveal & ordering appointment within 3-5 days where you’ll get to view your edited images for the first time and order whatever prints or products you want. After that, your order will be ready for pickup within 7-14 days (definitely in time for your anniversary/holiday/birthday). The End: Then you get to enjoy! Enjoy the confidence that boudoir gives you and the prints to always remember how gorgeous you are!!

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since I was young, I've always been passionate about encouraging and empowering the women in my sphere. I believe strongly in building a support system of beautiful and strong women. I've been lucky enough to discover boudoir and to share its magic. I feel honored to have met every single woman I've ever shot and seeing them blossom within a session. My passion for developing a community of amazing women has led to some awesome doors being opened. Having shot over 150+ women over a period of 4 years, getting published in magazines, having online features, and having the freedom to travel--I could not believe more in the power of self-love and the beauty that boudoir can afford.
