Introduction: Lifestyle photographer specializing in maternity, child, family, and portrait photography.
I grew up in Raleigh, NC and have had a love of photography since an early age, but back in 2012 I started taking things more seriously. At that time I began focusing exclusively on fine art images of landscapes and architecture of historical significance, shooting and printing exclusively in black-and-white and sepia (check out my Facebook page if you're interested in that kind of stuff). Then in 2016, my son came along and the free time I had to display my work at art shows and festivals was quickly replaced with diaper changes and toddler-chasing. My interests also changed; having a child of my own altered my perspective on shooting individuals, families, and children. I LOVE working with people to capture their personality, interests, and individual style in any of the photos I take. I look forward to working with you!

Heather is fantastic. She was easy to communicate with prior to the shoot. She arrived on time and was a great mix of professional and personal. She made sure we took photos that we wanted and she had no problem working around my newborn’s meltdowns. She has great ideas but is also open to the client’s ideas. She gave us a sneak peek about a week after the shoot and the final product was delivered on time. The quality of the photos is excellent. I’m thrilled with Heather and the end result. Couldn’t have asked for more and we will definitely use Heather again in the future!!

Working with Heather was a breeze. First, her photographs are amazing. When I showed my family and friends, everyone's first comment was, "She captured the true Erin!" Before the shoot, she asked plenty of questions about what sorts of photos I wanted. She gave me great advice on my hair, makeup, and outfit, as well. During the actual shoot she put me at ease and really gave me the confidence to just be me. She had some great suggestions for shots that I wouldn't have thought of that turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. I highly recommend Heather and would--will--definitely use her again!
