Tyson Law Firm, P.C.
About this pro
Excellence. Integrity. Service. These are the words that define the Tyson Law Firm, P.C., and the principles we aspire to live up to every single day. If you are faced with a legal challenge, you know how overwhelming the process can seem, and how emotionally and mentally taxing it can be to deal with such situations. A law firm serving the Greenwood and Indianapolis areas, The Tyson Law Firm, P.C. is here to guide you through the jungle of legal complexity, working in the areas of Family Law, Business Law, Civil Litigation, Landlord-Tenant Law, Bankruptcy, and Criminal Law. We will fight aggressively on your behalf, to obtain a just and satisfactory result. Through our three principles, we provide you with top-notch representation and service, and help you face your legal challenges with confidence. I enjoy getting to meet and work with new clients, learn about their lives and their objectives, and help them resolve whatever legal issues they may be facing. To someone who is not familiar with the legal system, being involved in any legal matter can be quite frightening, frustrating, and overwhelming. It is really satisfying to be able to help clients navigate through the process, advise them, and see them through to the other side
Customers rated this pro highly for work quality, responsiveness, and punctuality.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge either by the hour, or on a flat-fee basis. Much of this depends on the details of each specific case. If the case is a complex one, where there is no definable timeline, I typically charge by the hour. Where the case is more straightforward and somewhat predictable, I try to charge on a flat-fee basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically, I will meet with clients and do a consultation, during which we will discuss the details of their case. I will then give them a summary overview, outline for them how I would handle the case, and, if they are interested in moving forward, have them sign an agreement and get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, High Honors, from Marian University. I then attended the IU McKinney School of Law, from which I received my J.D. While at IU-McKinney, I was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an honor society denoting skill in oral and written advocacy. Since starting in practice, I have handled dozens of cases ranging from Criminal to Business to Family Law.
