They just installed a beautiful 6’ high wooden privacy fence for me in the back yard of my house that I just purchased and I LOVE it!!!

Shawn built a kids play set a while back for my younger sisters and they love it! I was very pleased with the work he did, and his friendly and professional attitude. Shawn made sure it was to our satisfaction and finished it in a timely manner so the girls didn't have to wait long to enjoy it! Shawn provides quality work at a great value, I would recommend him for any project you want done.

I was very disappointed in Houseco Home Improvements. We have been burnt by Thumbtack workers in the past, which is why I asked for a reference for Shawn to put together a playset we purchased for our three young boys. After providing a reference, we hired Shawn. Without our permission he subcontracted the job to another person who called the next morning at 6:45 am. I had no prior knowledge of this new person and no reference for his work. He worked for two days with his 13 year old son as his assistant. It became clear early on that this person was either not competent to put the set together or was willing to cut corners in such a way that the playset was not put together correctly. When we asked Shawn to fix the mistakes and put the set together according to the instructions, he said he couldn't meet our demands and walked away from the project. This was in June and two months later, we are still struggling to find someone who is willing to go back and fix all the mistakes that his subcontractor made. It was a very bad experience!

Mr. House was professional, prompt, and willing to help with my problem of the collapsed closet. He literally built four wooden braces and installed them in just two days. Great relief for a safer and more organized storage area--thanks to HouseCo for their great work.

We are professionals and we charge a professionals price. We stand behind our workmanship and take pride in our work. We complete each job for the joy of the end product not how fast we got it done or how much money we saved doing it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet with our customers and get an understanding of their needs and their budget. Knowing their budget is important as we can set clear expectations and establish the scope of the project..
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years construction experience and 15 years of fire prevention and public safety experience. I also posses a NC General Contractors License.
