I hired Matt to paint my daughter's room. This was a gift to her since she was turning 10! I'm so disappointed and upset. Matt rushed on the job and was late coming back to finish. Many times when I went upstairs I could hear him on the phone too. When my husband and I went in to check her bathroom we realized he must have used a roller that he had already used to pain a different accent wall. The light teal bathroom had all dark teal strokes through it which was the color of the accent wall. It was also only painted with one coat of paint and many white spots left. The trim was not even touched. The accent wall he painted had white drops down it. There was gray spots on the white ceiling. When I checked the room I didn't notice all of these flaws. He was rushing to leave and so was I since he was there much later than I expected. Matt's price he gave me was cheap. So I guess the saying is true - pay cheap get cheap! My husband and I are now spending our Sunday repainting a bathroom and fixing many mistakes.

Hands down, Home Improvements by Matt should be your first choice when deciding to do an upgrade in your home. Matt, the owner not only examined my home and the needs I had, but he had an estimate that provided a complete breakdown of prices so I knew what I would be paying for.
Matt has a sharp eye and was able to identify a number of things in my home that others had previously missed, such as mold in my bathroom. He was honest with all of his recommendations and never suggested anything that didn’t need to be fixed/upgraded in order to make extra profit. Unlike other contractors I had estimates from, Matt gave me an estimate that was competitive and fair.
I honestly have nothing but praise for the work Matt did on my home and the upgrades came out absolutely beautiful. The trim that he did was precise. The tiling in the bathroom is gorgeous. I can tell he takes pride in his work. I am beyond pleased with the experience I had with Matt as well as the results that surpassed my expectations. There is no question that Matt will be my choice again in the future.
