I found Nathan to be very professional and engaged. He proactively worked to get my screen fixed as quickly as possible, doing all the research to find the right part, order it, and complete the repair quickly and efficiently. And the cost was very reasonable! I was VERY happy with the work and the quality customer service! Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this company to everyone. I needed some important tax files recovered from a computer that was reformatted and wiped clean. Without Nathan, my files were as good as lost forever. He is very knowledgeable, very skilled and he also is very caring. He recovered all of the files that I needed and de-stressed my situation. Nathan is extremely talented and his prices are very reasonable. I am so thankful that his company was referred to me using Thumbtack. Thank you very much!

After that time, I never wanted to end up stranded again. Fast-forward 10 years and here I am having worked on numerous devices of all shapes and sizes. Windows, Mac, mobile devices, printers, surveillance cameras, TVs...you name it, most likely I've worked with it. It's more than just hardware though; I'm ready to tackle your software issues as well. Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My flat hourly rate is $50/hour. However, some tasks, due to their nature, are better charged flat-rate. You wouldn't want to pay $50/hour for me to transfer data for 3 hours while the computer just sits there working... I iron out details with the customer and make sure we agree on a fair price and pricing scheme before getting to work.
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with the customer first by email to get a basic idea of the problem and then over the phone to iron out any wrinkles. I make sure to get the exact problem to be solved in writing so that we are on the same page as to what's going on and what needs to be fixed.
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified and have worked in the IT field for almost 3 years. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked as an engineer for almost 6 years, with several years devoted to electronics test and measurement.
Coverage Area for No-Nonsense Computer Solutions is about 20+ miles of Hampton, VA.
