Introduction: Intuitive compassion. Empathic resonance. You could say I have a bit of a radar for pain and trigger points. Because of this, my Swedish style massage is always a little different; my intention is to reduce muscular inflammation while keeping my client comfortable, based on their needs. Reducing the appearance of hyperkyphosis! Everyone's topography is unique. We share similar physiological components in general, but the individual is calibrated specifically. Additionally, the opportunity to potentially improve the quality of someone's life, even if only temporarily, is an honor. Stress? Aches? Injury rehabilitation? Water retention? Headaches? I absolutely love Kiera's massages! She evaluates my posture before we begin and pays attention to my muscles. I love that I'm not getting a generic massage. Rather, its a massage tailored for my needs.

Goes above and beyond expectations and the normal standards. I was never uncomfortable during my sessions or left sore. The effects from a relaxing deep tissue massage lasts up to a week, with moderate activity.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first session, I'll be taking mental notes on things such as compensation patterns and general posture, and I'll ask some basics about your health history (surgeries, recent injuries, etc.). We'll see how we work together! Different clients need different therapists :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Attended Soma Institute in Chicago for massage therapy. Challenging program, highly recommended!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
"feeling pain" has always been a thing for me. It wasn't until 2014 when I finally found the confidence to study in the industry!
