- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my sessions are customizable, but most portrait sessions start around $150-200, family sessions start at $200 and wedding coverage starts at $900. Everyone is unique and has their own wants and need though, so I like to be flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know a little about the person/couple/family, so once we've had the initial email or phone call I have a questionnaire that you fill out along with the booking agreement. I am very open to meeting in person as well and going over any details of your session. I also offer style boards and session consultations for anyone who needs help with that, as well as referrals for hair and makeup when needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for a wedding and travel photographer for three years in Birmingham, then New York, as a studio manager and assistant photographer. In 2013 I opened my own business where I specialize in lifestyle portraiture for creative professionals and families, as well as weddings.
