- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We at Time to Shine offer square footage pricing. We charge a price per square foot of the home. So all we would need for an accurate quote is the home's square footage. We also charge a 10.00 maintenance fee for every cleaning. We also offer a discount for bi-weekly and weekly cleanings. At this time we do not offer discounts on one-time cleans or monthly cleanings. We also have a service offered to set up a monthly budget to make it easier for you to budget and pay for your service. Contact us for more details on our budget plan if that interests you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new client is important to us, and we appreciate everyone. We meet for a consultation and tour the location, talking about various topics ranging from what material a certain item is, to what they would like done and how. At the end of the consultation, we go over packages and rates and find which one fits the budget and needs of the client. We also give them a business card. Once all of the details are taken care of we give the client a welcome packet that gives them our hours and other important information about us. The next time the client sees us is when we come back to perform our first cleaning. During the cleaning, we follow a checklist, and do our best to make sure the house is clean and the client is happy. We randomly send out surveys to our clients just to get some feedback on our work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Time to Shine has been in business since January 7, 2017. We are the undefeated champs of "The Best Cleaning Company in Harrisonburg." We have received that award every year since 2018. At this time we only have 1 full-time cleaner and three part-time cleaners. My husband who is the owner cleans full-time, and my daughters and I help on a part-time basis. We are family-owned and operated. I am the co-owner and office manager. We have ten years of cleaning experience and thirteen years of business management experience. We have had COVID training and all of us have background checks on file.
