Introduction: I am Alaina, a makeup artist and hairstylist in Haslett, MI. I specialize in on site airbrush or traditional makeup as well as hair styling for weddings, photo shoots and other special events such as proms, parties or just a girls night out. I absolutely love my job and can't imagine doing anything else. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service to all my clients. I have always been beyond pleased with everything Alaina does! She is so talented and personable. Alaina did my hair and make up for engagement pictures, my bridal shower, and make up for me and my bridesmaids. She did a wonderful job!! Alaina always does an excellent job with my color and cut. She goes the extra step to make sure it is exactly what I want, plus gives me conditioning treatments if my hair needs it. I change my color and cut a lot and she is always up for the challenge.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from cosmetology school and obtained my license. I've taken classes and attended hair shows to continue my education. I have been doing makeup and hair for weddings for the last 4 years
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved doing hair and makeup. As a kid, I would use my younger sister as my hair and makeup model and decided as an adult that this is what I wanted to do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers with different skin tones, eye color, hair color etc... As well as different events such as weddings, proms, photo shoots, etc....
