- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Adult packages are 3 or 4 45min-1hr sessions plus one consultation ($168.75-$300). Weekly youth lessons are 30 or 45min through May. Youth students may start any time and fees include participation in 2 virtual concerts ($125.75 or $188.50 p/month). Contact for new student discounts!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first lesson I get a feel for your voice and musical style as well as taking you through my routine. We start with a quick chat about singing and your goals, then we'll warm up and vocalize. I listen to your tone and pay attention to breath and anything else that might need help. When you sign up for more lessons that's when the real work starts. We repeat the exercises that train your voice and that give you solid technique and get to work on more songs. With a goal of working towards performing opportunities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors and masters degree in vocal performance from The Boston Conservatory. I constantly take pedagogical seminars and have over 10 years of experience teaching private voice lessons with successful students.
