- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is extremely difficult to generalize in the fencing world. Every job is different and the cost of materials is constantly changing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is the bid. I meet with every potential customer to find out what they need. I prepare a bid which includes everything in one document. When you agree to the work and price then we schedule the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am 100% self-taught. I started doing this after building my own (very big) fence in 2003. In 2004 I figured out there was money to be made doing fences. I started doing every job by myself. It continued this way for a few years, but eventually I was joined by my youngest brother and my oldest son. This is our 14th season and we now provide fences which we believe are better than most of the other big companies in town.
