FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not price any job as a standard job. Each one has a different atmosphere and the owners also have an important say in how a job will proceed. There are too many variables when doing a job the right way to just throw a number at it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to introduce myself to give you someone you can connect to but ultimately I want to meet the client face to face and view their project in person. When you try to quote a product such as tree service without seeing the project area then there are too many unknowns. These factors need figured into the quote. Some times they may raise the quote but they may also lower it. You just need to have all of the info to quote a job properly. I wouldn't trust a company that doesn't need to come look at the job before giving a final quote. I would be afraid they would want to raise the price after they arrived to do the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Grandfather and Father both cut trees and sold firewood since I was about 5 years old. I have been running a chain saw since I was about 12. This experience has given me a good understanding of what tree felling entails. No one can predict 100% what a tree is going to do when it falls but knowing this helps you make good decisions and use the right tools for the right situation to take the guesswork out of the job.
