First lesson ever so can’t compare but in a matter of an hour she gave me lessons to take home and work on by myself, she was able to assist me with being more consistent with my swing, she asked many questions about myself and my golf career and out of that was able to talk golf the way I was able to understand it (through Baseball), she was able to keep everything simple but very helpful. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Kati! See you on the next lesson.Jun 29, 2018VerifiedKatie B.'s reply
Thanks, Tristan, great lesson. But it’s all about the student.
My wife and I recently started taking lessons from Kati. We have had a very positive experience and she has already taught us a lot. I would highly recommend her for golf lessons. We bought a block of lessons from her and that seems to work best. We can build on our progress each time and our game keeps getting better after every lesson, plus its a better deal if you buy a block. We still have a lot more coming and we are both looking forward to getting better each time. Thanks Kati!Apr 22, 2018VerifiedKatie B.'s reply

I was a little apprehensive about golf after my first time at the driving range with my boyfriend. Connecting with Kati for lessons changed all that, within the first few minutes. After only one lesson, I'm already feeling confident that I will be able to learn and enjoy golf. I appreciate Kati's dedication to making the lessons both informative and positive, while also keeping it challening and fun.Sep 10, 2017
The first lesson is always pretty iffy with most folks. Not with Katie. Cordial, outgoing, very patient, able to redirect by transition. Three swings and she had me back on target. If you knew me, that's pretty hard to do. She makes learning fun again.Jul 11, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard half hour rate for adults is $45 and I run periodic specials but I always have six lessons for $215 and 10 lessons for $300. Junior rate for kids 17 and under is $30 or 6 (1/2) hour lessons for $150. I also offer Mini Golf Schools group lessons - $90 for 4 hours throughout the year for beginners and intermediate. However, if you can get three other people together, we can set up a group at any time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We do a short interview on goals, background in golf and sports, and injuries. The student hits balls where I then recommend changes, drills or teaching aids based on their goals, time frame, and ability. I also do video before and after. I offer a variety of lesson packages which I explain as well. I also am on Staff with Tour Edge, one of the oldest manufacturers of equipment and the only company to offer a lifetime warranty on their product. With my knowledge in club-fitting, I offer a free evaluation and fitting for this company.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Physical Education/Kinesiology, am a Class A and Life Member of the LPGA and former LPGA Touring Pro. I am also Wally Armstrong certified and a Member of the National Golf Foundation. I was also listed in the Who's Who registry for Executive/Professionals. And most importantly, I have taken over 2500 hours of instruction myself from the top teachers in the country.
