I got started doing this type of work because I moved far away from my home where my 3 dogs were. I missed animal companionship and I needed to way to scratch that itch. Taking care of animals is a passion of mine so doing this hobby helps me to cope with being away from my family and furry pets at the same time, helping others.

My advice I would give to a customer looking to hire a provider would be to examine if the provider looks and feels passionate about this type of work. First impressions mean a lot and a quick meet-and-greet along with your furry companion is crucial before hiring.
