Introduction: Dear Student: It is great that you want to improve your skills on the piano. I want you to know that as a teacher, I teach skills for life not just for the piano. I like to help each and every student develop their God-given potential. I encourage students to participate in a variety of music events to help them grow musically and personally. Absolutely INCREDIBLE. I have 4 children and all have gone to Ms. Damaris, from young children all the way until leaving for college. My family has tried many "teachers" before finding her, none came close. Ms. Damaris isn't just a teacher, she is highly educated classical musician, and has been teaching piano master classes and in Universities and colleges all over the world. I love that she has world knowledge of music, not only teaching just how to play, but also theory, technique, performing and reading music, best of all passion! plus she is a judicator for competitions so you know she has what it takes. She has prepared my children for their competitions and I have seen firsthand the success and the respect she gets from judges on how well her students perform. She's not easy to get a spot with, and truthfully surprised to see she has openings, but if you are lucky enough to get your child in with her you'll see how incredible she is, you can look her up online anywhere and see the successes she has with students and her performing herself. For over 10 years now Damaris Morales (Alvarez) has been teaching my 2 children and loving every minute. Even though we are completely on the other side of town getting to her studio in Henderson each week wasn't easy, but worth every minute. We learned its not about the time traveling in the car, its the incredible training my girls get from her that has brought their skills up so far over the years that they have both now been given scholarships to continue music at an incredible University come next year. We had tried many "teachers" before thinking we should stay near our home and also save money on less expensive teachers, "you get what you pay for" and she is worth every dollar!. My husband and I had met Damaris judging our girls competitions for many years, she had always been the Judge everyone wished their kids were being taught by. Finally she had a few spaces that had opened and we quickly took them and had never looked anywhere else since then.

Damaris was a great piano instructor. She had extensive knowledge of the instrument, playing technique, and learning repertoire. She took my abilities as a pianist to a whole new level, eventually leading to success in competitions and scholarships. Her friendly demeanor and passion for music make her a great artist to learn from and work with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Students who want the best will always need to pay for that result, so if you just want to learn piano as a hobby then my studio would probably not be for you because my pricing is in the upper ranges. My limited availability of space for new students shows that there is no shortage of dedicated students who want to be the best. I will do my best to work with you on pricing, but you need to know right away that what I am offering is absolutely the best piano training your child, or you will ever be able to have.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new students will need to come to my studio and audition, this way I can speak with you, see if we are a good match. I look for serious and dedicated students who will work hard.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 30 years of teaching in Colleges and Universities, all around the world. I have a Masters in Piano Performance. With many other certifications as well as degrees from around the world.
