FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Graphic design plays an important role for companies. Audiences demand engaging content, and visual story telling. With that said every company has their own story that has to resonate with prospects. I like to have a consultation meeting, either in person or virtually. I have a series of questions that I ask to narrow down the vision of the project. Once I have all the answers I create a few concepts to send for review. The next step is crucial. I ask the client to create a list of things they like and don't like about the designs, this helps me really define the desired result. From that feedback I modify the designs and send for review. Open communication is the key in achieving the clients goals and design needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, and have been in the industry for over 10 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved drawing and painting as a hobby. Previous to my graphic design career I worked in office environments, banking and other financial institutes to pay the bills. With the market crash in 2009 I found myself jobless with the close of businesses, not once but twice. I decided to take my future into my own hands and do what I love doing so I went back to school and earned a Bachelors degree while working a full time office job. It has been a very rewarding decision for me.
