Top Tier Events was top notch! Carolyn was readily available from the time I hired her. Prompt with emails, texts, and phone calls. She met with me twice in person prior to the wedding to go over expectations and then again at the venue to get the layout and work out the details of the day. Her wedding knowledge base is great as she helped me hire a couple other people for services that day. Carolyn ran my wedding day with ease! She and her assistant, Brooke were on top of everything and there was not one hiccup!!!! My day went flawless from start to finish and I could not have done it without her!! Carolyn is extremely organized, easy to work with, and she works great with people! She made a detailed timeline of the day and kept things running smooth and on time! Carolyn and her assistant Meg went above and beyond to make my wedding absolutely perfect. My bridal bouquet through a different florist was not what I expected and Carolyn went so far as to drive to the store to purchase more flowers and touch it up herself without being asked!! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?My typical process is to set up a phone or in-person consultation to be able to meet with potential clients and review my services. I first want to hear about your needs and expectations for your event. Then I review the planning process, go over questionnaires to ensure I have all the relevant information, and answer any questions about the contract. The process can take about 1 - 2 hours depending on the type of event, number of vendors, and the amount of guests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked in the wedding business for over 15 years as a freelance cake designer, creating beautiful cakes and 3D designs for many different types of weddings in many locations within Tennessee and surrounding states. I also have over 23 years of operations and business management, event planning, and project management. In addition, I coordinated my own wedding, created all of the designs, cake, invitations, decorations, and managed all of the vendors. For the last 2 years, I have worked with Top Tier Band, assisting with weddings, managing timelines, and coordinating events.
