- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Without using health insurance, initial visits are $150 and follow up visits are $60 - $125 depending on the length of stay. Health insurance, health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts are encouraged. Senior, student, and military discounts are available upon request .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet talk with my clients personally and find out what their needs are regarding their weight or any medical issues or both. I talk with them about their medical history and their personal preferences and we start planning how to meet their goals. There are no gimmicks, no set schedules for future appointments. I encourage them to use health insurance benefits, Health Savings Account or flex spending accounts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have The Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University in nutrition with a medical dietetics option. I attended Medical College of Virginia for my dietetic internship to pass my certification to become a registered dietitian in 1984. I continue to meet my continuing education requirements to maintain my registration.
