Maya and her team from BellaRu was incredible! We had about 100 people and I heard from everyone, including the 5 teenagers that were there, how delicious the food was, how the staff was not only on top of keeping things flowing, they were genuinely sweet people. They even stepped in to take care of some personal touches I brought, so I could visit. I didn't meet Maya until the day of my daughter's Happily Ever After party, because I live 5 hours away and when I saw her I had to hug her, because she was such a calming influence throughout the planning. She has a way of getting you to think of things from a different perspective, without ever being pushy. They knew how to deal with bringing all the supplies up to the 26th floor at the very congested Chicago River North area, deal with parking, etc. In other words, you don't have to worry about this team not being able to make it work & get the job done with excellence!Oct 27, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have some basic pricing, but mostly I build custom menus for each event, so it can change up or down rather quickly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to either meet in person for the 1st meeting or over the phone. After that there are lots of emails and text messages before our next meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Culinary degree. I have almost 15 yrs real world restaurant experience in every position imaginable. And about 6 years experience in event planning and catering.
