I have been putting off writing this review because I dont know how to put into words how amazing George is, if I could give him 10 stars I would! In the last half of 2016 and most of 2017 I was dealing with a lot of medical issue that wound up effected my body and muscles a lot (I was always in pain)! I always had some pounds to lose however I was able to work out and keep it under control until 2016 when it all began and I was put on certain meds for almost a year. When I started with George my whole body would ache all the time and I was dealing a lot back issues AND trust issues regarding anything that involved my health including exercise! Not only did he prove that he knew what he was doing he figured out exercises that would not hurt my back but still make it stronger, and anything he didn't know he researched. Since working with George my back pain has decreased significantly, my body hardly hurts anymore, I feel stronger, im able to work out 4 times a week, and I have lost almost 30 pound, all this in less than 6 months (and it would probably be more if I didn't cheat as often as I do). I was not your typical person looking for a trainer to just tone up or lose a few pounds I needed more help than that and he has gone above and beyond expectations!! He tailors my workouts to me, I am never board, he does not except excuses, however truly cares! He is extremely knowledgeable and always strives to be better and you can tell he truly loves what he does, I cannot recommend him enough!!Feb 13, 2018Verified

George Lewis/Inner Fire Fitness is hands down the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. I've worked with Mr.Lewis for 4 months and he changed my life. He motivated me, encouraged me, and pushed me to achieve fitness goals that I never thought were possible. I hate ab workouts they were challenging for me, he saw this,to encourage me, and motivate me Mr.Lewis got on the floor and did the entire ab workout session with me. What more could I ask for, he's the best personal trainer ever!! I still hate ab workouts but I can do them now because he believed in me, and now I believe in myself. He is passionate about fitness, nutrition, and making sure that his client's get the results they want. His workouts are challenging but he makes them fun. He has a great personality, he's friendly, laid back,and funny but he is serious about his job. He is professional, he always shows up prepared for every session. He is educated in the field, he has a degree in Kinesology from Penn State, that alone is worth it's weight in gold. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?George gives the client a simple fitness assessment to check for form and muscle imbalances. After the assessment, George goes over the persons strengths and weaknesses. From there George creates a workout regimen for the client and gives advice on lifestyle balance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?George has a B.S in Kinesiology(Movement Science) from Pennsylvania State University. George also played varsity baseball for 2 years while he was in college.
