- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I did a lot of research on the handy man business and found pricing to range from $50. to $94. per hr. I work on a time and material format. By determining cost and overhead, I set my price at $65. per hr. With a 15% discount to all seniors and handicapped clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact the customer to set an appointment for a free estimate. If the client is ready to hire, I may be able to do the work at that time, or we can set up a time for me to return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Journeyman Carpenter. I went through a 4 year apprenticeship program. I have been a self employed remodeler for over 40 years.
