Juliana helped us choose and install custom made curtains on some large unusually shaped windows in our bedroom. She was great - listened carefully to understand what we were looking for, came up with great suggestions, coordinated everything, has a can do attitude and really made our vision come to life. From the moment Julianna walked into my home, I knew that I wanted to work with her. She immediately had a vision for how we could transform the room from mundane to the equivalent to a television makeover. She sketched my space and took measures, asked my store preferences. She worked within my budget offering solutions at different price points, i.e. high end rugs versus Home-goods. I admit that I could not clearly articulate my style preference because I like many styles but by listening to me, she nailed it. She incorporated my favorite pieces and suggested new ones. My living and dining room project came together beautifully. I get so many compliments on my home.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tend to charge an hourly fee for big jobs which is deducted from a retainer but for smaller jobs I just ask for a flat rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is when I usually ask them about the things that they do and do not like, really trying to understand them, ask about their needs, and explain what they should expect from me, discuss pricing and explain the process to them the best way possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did an interior design course while working with some of the top designers in Boston for over 12 years, from hospitality to residential, traveled to New York and Canada as an assistant and was the only one in charge of doing the space planning, placing orders and follow through, work orders etc. After having my son I decided to venture out on my own.
