My Ph.D. is in Conflict Analysis and Resolution With a focus on Conflict and Crisis Management. Prior to receiving my Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern, I received my Master’s degree in Counseling from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.

Continuing my commitment to advocacy and with a mission to assist African-Americans and other disenfranchised groups, my research interests include Transgenerational Impacts of Trauma and Family Violence, Family Violence Prevention & Intervention Programs, Family Violence and its relationship to Child Development & Epidemiological, Resiliency and Survivors of Family Violence, Culture and Conflict, History, Memory & Conflict, Restorative and Transitional Justice, and Intra-familial Homicide.
