Chef David's food was so tasteful.....everyone at the party was impressed with the creativity of the menu and flavors. He was very professional, on time and came very well prepared. Once my guests arrived the timing sequence of serving the food was flawless. He left my kitchen sparkling clean and everything in order. This is by far one the best get togethers I had at my house. From day one meeting David felt like seeing an old friend after a few years apart. He was so easy to work with and was open to all of our ideas and shared ideas of his own. After our wedding was postponed due to the hurricane, David and Josefina made the impossible possible. They literally went above and beyond to make our special day perfect, and that it was, simply perfect. The staff bent over backwards to cater to us and our guests, and the guest were lining up at the buffet line for seconds. The food was so amazing. Our family and friends had so many good things to say about the food. We not only got lucky to find an amazing catering company with Tasty Creations, but we also got lucky in making a new forever friendship with David and Josefina. From our first meeting, I knew that my wife and I made the right choice. David's presentation, concept, passion and attention to detail, is phenomenal. The final product during our reception, was stellar and superb; moreover, we contracted his wife, Josefina to be our coordinator and that added addition prove even more so to be an excellent choice and another ammunition of David's services. The reception was flawless from beginning to end and our guests had nothing but praise, for everything that was served and how professional the staff are. Oh, did I mention that the food taste amazing? David and his team, set up outside the reception clubhouse and propped up a make shift kitchen and cooked on site; in other words, a fresh meal for everyone to enjoy. His staff are exceptional, professional, courteous and are very happy in what they do; that is because of David's style of operation and communication. His recommendation of having two bars, during the reception was an asset, because it lead to our guests seamlessly flowing to get their alcoholic beverages. Also, we added a coffee bar which was an excellent and our guests truly loved the unique addition. My rating is more than five stars and thank you David, Josefina and the Tasty Creations Catering staff, for making our moment and unforgettable and beautiful memory. We started out just looking for someone to offer catering services to our wedding, but we found so much more with Tasty Creations! Chef David and his wonderful wife, Margarita, went above and beyond in every capacity. From the very first sit down, we knew something good was cookin’. The food was absolutely delicious! We had more variety in flavors with our meal choices than we found anywhere else. This dynamic duo not only provided a stellar meal that is fancy, French-cuisine worthy, they also helped us smooth out all the extra details that made our day a tremendous success. Working with Chef and Margarita, we were able to brainstorm some wonderful ideas that really added a lot of value to our wedding. They made planning and preparing for the big day so much fun and when the day came, they made sure that everything was taken care of so all we had left to do was relax, remembers our vows, and enjoy the day. It has taken me awhile to decide what I wanted to say about working with Preston and Katie aka (String Bean). It was such a great honor to get to know this wonderful couple and their families. We were welcomed right into the family throughout the entire time we lead upto the wedding. We have never been invited to the rehearsal dinner after the rehearsal, but these two lovely souls made us come over to enjoy a few minutes of down time. Not only did we get me assist two wonderful souls with their very special day, but we made two great friends out of this. We look forward to many evenings of laughter and story telling with the two of you. As well the Secret Gardens was a great location for there theme. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I want to be able to provide a service to everyone that is looking for a caterer. I tend to believe that in todays economy a pricing structure is not always the best item to have. Working with a client to offer them a high quality product so everyone wins is what we pride ourselves with at Tasty Creation Catering.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our process is really simple. We listen to the client to paint the picture of what they are looking for. We offer suggestions that are cost effective to those that are on a budget. It is exciting working with new clients cause we learn alittle something from everyone that we come in contact with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. I hold an AS in Culinary Art and a BS in Culinary Art and Food Service Management. I also have over 25 years in the Food Industry.
