- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard method of pricing is a percentage of the proposed project to cover all design fees along with a markup on materials if we are asked to purchase all materials required for the project. All pricing will be dependent on the scope of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is simple. Starting with an in depth discussion on the scope of your project, we take the time to learn about your tastes and vision, your lifestyle, and the site of your project. We will also go over your budgetary guidelines with you, establish a price point that you are comfortable with and maintain your budgetary requirements throughout the design process. Once the proposla is signed, the information that has been gathered during our meetings and visits is used to create all floorplans and elevations of the space room to fit your needs and wishes discussed during our first meeting. This step will allow you to view 3d renderings of the project area so you are better able to visualize what the final product will look like inside and out. Any necessary revisions will be made to ensure that all of your design and project requirements are met and satisfied. Once the preliminary conceptual drawings are approved, we move forward to complete your final construction drawings. These drawings are structurally engineered with all necessary dimensions and details for your builder or contractor to begin construction on the home. Once construction has started we will schedule regular meetings with your builder or contractor to keep you updated on the progress of your project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ask yourself what is important in the room you are renovating to allocate your budget toward the features of the space. Also, know what your budget is to complete all of the work to make it clear for your designer and/or contractor what materials selections would be needed to maximize the end result and keep you within your set budget.
