Michael was an excellent vendor to work with for my wedding! He sat down with me and gave me his credentials and spoke with me about what I was looking for in a bartender. I was honest - I'm not that into alcohol but my fiance wanted an open bar. I gave him a number of things we both liked when it came to drinks, and as we got closer to the wedding, he arranged a drink tasting with myself and my roommates. He came to our house to provide us with this service, and I was /blown away/ by the beverages. As I said, I'm not much of an alcohol person, but I enjoyed every one of his options. He even made me a signature drink that didn't taste like alcohol! On the day of the wedding, guests gave us compliments left and right on how good the drinks were. My husband was blown away by his signature drink, that Michael managed to come up with without even meeting him! Everybody who attended the wedding left happy. Michael was very accomodating price-wise and even threw in some goodies for us because my husband is military. If you're ever looking for somebody to work your event and put care and pride into his work, Michael is the man to go to.

From the moment we hired Michael to be our bartender for our wedding we had no worries about everyone having a great time at our wedding. We had a couple meetings with Michael before hand to discuss logistics and what we were looking for. The second meeting was a tasting, where we got to taste every signature cocktail he had created for us. The whole experience was great! He was very detailed in explaining everything and made it a lot of fun to pick our cocktails. On the day of the event he had ample staff, had a very professional setup, and treated all of our guests great! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Packages start at $50 an hour, for a professional bartender. All bartenders arrive with their own professional mixology tools of the craft. Full service packages available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a face to face meeting. In this meeting I like to get to know you while you get to know me. While we are getting to know one another, I'll ask questions to help guide me in planing your event. I like to ask questions that give me insight into the likes of your friends and family. The learning process is in full effect now, so my last question is to learn what type of atmosphere/vibe you are looking for. At this point I like to ask if you have any questions and show you a copy of a typical final invoice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over twenty-five years experience behind the bar and over fifteen years as a mixologist and flair bartender. I am a active member of the Flair Bartenders Association along with the Bartenders Guild of America. I have been a corporate trainer for some of the best restaurants in the country, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
