About this pro
Hired him to fix PC which wont start after upgrading RAM, i didn't had proper tool to diagnose, after checking back and forth told only 2 slots are working may be issue with mother board, and loaded OS in new SSD, all this took 4Hrs!!! which i paid without asking any question, told 3hrs to recover data from other Hard drive, i didnt take this service, since i was the one who assembled the PC, i fixed the RAM and recovered data all this in half the time!!! learned my lesson...thanksJun 11, 2018VerifiedDave S.'s reply
I was hired because the customer could figure out what his problem was after he had worked on his own PC. I arrived at his home went through some test procedures on the motherboard. Then I removed the ram that he had tried to install and reinstalled the original ram the computer did not start at that time. So I continued checking things then I removed two sticks of the Original ram. The computer then started and we booted into the operating system and it showed to be working. Then I removed that ram and installed 2 sticks of his new ram the system continued to start. I then installed the solid-state drive that he had purchased installation went without a problem. Then I attempted to install windows 10 pro from my flash drive the computer showed that the flash drive was corrupted although I had used it the night before. We discussed what to do next and I said the best thing would be if I come back tomorrow around 10 o’clock with a CD and try to install windows then. I did that againComputer showed that the source was corrupted. Knowing that the CD was new I continued checking things and found that the customer had add the other 2 sticks of ram I removed 2 sticks of the ram in the computer. This time when I tried to install windows it installed I proceeded to set up windows as far as I could with the information that the customer had supplied. After making sure that windows would start every time I tried I demonstrated that to his wife. Then send him a text telling him that we had two hours worth of time from the night before and two hours worth of time from that day and that the bill would be as quoted $85 for the first two hours and $50 additional per hour. I also told him that if he wanted me to recover the data from other drive that I would cap the time at three hours and that would be additional. He declined recovering the data. He then texted me the credit card information which I ran through the system. Thanks his wife for her kindness and understanding picked up my shoes and left the house.
First rate absolutely five star service. My experience with David was unequivocally positive. A thoughtless guest had spilled white wine INTO my PC. It made the most horrible hissing sound. I was anything but a model client. I was busy with work and personal matters and David answered my text messages, proffered sound advice and patiently waited for my replies Every other tech believed it was a motherboard problem. David thought differently and after doing everything he told me to do he came over made two modifications and my PC started up as good as new. It is running quietly, smoothly like before-like new. I'm very grateful to David. He has my utmost respect and my absolute highest approbation. If you need computer help look no further. Hire this man. I'mAug 8, 2017VerifiedDave S.'s reply
