FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally speaking, for organizing my pricing system consists of hourly billing rates. I also offer package solutions to help clients budget a little better for their organizing projects. For staging labor hours, I use a pricing structure that is based on the number of rooms to be staged, an estimate of how long it will take to stage those room(s) and my hourly billing rate. For rental of furniture and supplies, the costs are added (without mark up) to my labor rates to make a complete package.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After we've talked over the phone to make sure that we are a match for each other, we'll move to the in-person consultation phase to determine the best course of action. If it's an organizing client the consultation will go over your needs and goals. We'll go over the plan to help you reach those goals. If it's staging, we also start with a paid consultation to get you started. You then decide if you want to take a D.I.Y. approach or have me assist in reaching your staging project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a member of the National Association of Professional Organizer, actively seeking a special interest certification in Home Organizing. I am also a member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals. Not only do I take advantage of continuing education opportunities in both associations but I am also actively involved so I am constantly learning how to help my clients achieve their goals.
