DeLaGarza HomeCare & Remodeling
About this pro
This is the second job, in the last 12 months we have used Mr. DeLaGarza. He is excellent at communicating when to expect his arrival. He did excellent work on both jobs for a reasonable price and conducts himself in a professional manner. Thank you, we will be using him again for future jobs.May 9, 2018Verified
Nice guys, but 1) were nearly two hours late and 2) knew very little about how to install drywall. We actually called the project off and cut our losses after realizing how little they knew. They guys worked hard but just didn't have the skill or know-how to complete the project. Notice in the photo how they tried to use 8 (!) different pieces of drywall scraps to finish this simple project. Some of the drywall patches were actually different sizes (half inch, quarter inch) so none of them were flush. They used NO drywall tape (which is pretty basic knowledge) on any of the seams. The floating was splotchy and uneven. I won't even go into the mess he made on our floor since he didn't properly protect them...yes, we'll have to rebuff them... Unfortunately, were out $350 (which we settled on after quite a bit of negotiating when he said he refused to leave without full payment for a job he couldn't complete) and now I have to remove their work, and install the drywall myself. So I spent more money to do more work... I hope these guys take some time to learn the skill properly.Jul 17, 2017
