FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Working one-on-one is obviously a very different situation than working for a corporate entity with hundreds of attendees. For me it's not always about the money but the satisfaction so my fees are quoted according to the situation. Whenj it comes to public speaking lessons I try to encourage participants to invite a friend or friends to increase the size of the class. That way I can charge less per person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step is to chat on the phone to see if there is a 'fit.' I do not charge for that phone conversation. If I'm dealing with an individual (not a corporate entity) my first one-on-one meeting is the next step. If there is a presentation involved I will submit a series of power point slides before meeting (if that is necessary).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have doctorates in Industrial Psychology & Mechanical Engineering. I also have a degree in Industrial Administration.
