- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having little use for the assembly line practices of “big box” real estate agencies, James chose to create an agency focused on offering a highly personalized service. Krueger Real Estate was founded on a corporate philosophy of steadfast commitment to quality service. James believes that exceptional real estate service begins with personalization– with one agent who listens, who tailors his or her service to your wants and needs, and who not only communicates well, but is available to answer your questions and concerns both day and night. James knows that knowledge is the second component of professionalism. He has comprised a well-diverse team with every agent adding a unique and invaluable position to the company. As a multimillion-dollar producer, James’ results have remained consistent, a true testimony to his skill, ability and tenacious, energetic style. His enthusiasm and knowledge contribute to his success with his team at KRE. James has a knack for problem-solving and seeing the bigger picture; often knowing the needs of his clients better than they do. He can look past the emotional aspect of the deal and focus on what is really important in the long run. He takes his time with his clients making sure they are comfortable with every step of the buying or selling process. “I’m very patient with people and more importantly; I love what I do because I get to help people. It used to be my clients... now it’s my agents.” Before becoming a broker, James was a litigation consultant. His extensive knowledge of contracts allows him to easily explain the terms and conditions in a way his clients can understand. He enjoyed, but longed to be out of the office and interacting with people. He says that switching to real estate sales and building a dynamic team was the best choice he ever made. Now, as the broker to 20 agents, James’ more confident than ever in his decision. “My business strategy and agency goal is to develop our team to be the premier real estate agency in Houston and surrounding areas. I am striving to set Krueger Real Estate apart from other groups by our people first commitment and attitude, our top-notch reputation, and creating a desirable workplace for future agents. My focus has always been helping others fulfil their lifetime dreams of home ownership, and now my focus has shifted to helping my agents fulfil their clients’ dreams. My proudest moment as a broker was when my first agent under me closed on their first real estate transaction.”
- What types of customers have you worked with?
At Krueger Real Estate, we work with all types of clients. Houston is the most diverse city in the country, and our clients are a true picture of that. They come from different states and countries, have different backgrounds and economic status, and each carries a unique story that got them where they are. Collectively we speak 14 different languages, which helps tremendously when communicating with a diverse group of clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check their reviews, check how many transactions they've had in the last 12 months, and get to know them. We are in the business of people, so make sure the agent is someone you enjoy working with and trust.
