Big J's Home Projects
About this pro
Extensive tile work. I can't say enough about him. He a is absolutely fantastic. Hard worker, diligent, honest, trustworthy. Does exactly what he says. Takes time for lunch but honestly, I never see him NOT working. His experience is not limited to tile work. I'd like to keep him as long as I can but this young man should be shared. As a contractor, he's a rarity in these days. I would highly recommend Frederick to anyone who needs to feel confident about having a contractor in their home. I've been burnt may times before by contractors. Thumbtack, you did good. Thanks for your assistance in referring Big J's Home Projects.Mar 28, 2016Verified

I highly recommend Justin who was always on time, worked clean and was very conscientious about his work. I have referred him to friends and he is currently estimating a bathroom remodel for me.Feb 24, 2016Verified
Complete professional. Outlined everything he would complete with a schedule, and then completed said work flawlessly. Completely satisfied.Feb 17, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process for working with a new customer is, setting up the first meeting with the new potential customer. We then go over what they need done and we cover all ends from the beginning, during, to end so the customer will know what is going on at all times.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started doing this type of work following in the foot steps of my dad. He has his own home remodeling business which I worked with him for years. I also learned a lot from working with my stepdad who has his own business installing hardwood floors.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Advice that I would give a customer looking to hire a provider in this line of work is, always make sure everything is getting explained so you know what is going on. When they give you a price and timeline, be sure to get an explanation why and if they cannot give that to you, you may be getting ripped off. A lot of businesses take on a number of jobs, leaving your house tore up for longer than it needs to be.
