We chose ASR after getting quotes from about 4 companies. They weren't the most expensive quote, but not the least expensive either. We chose them primarily because Octavio really seemed to understand what we were wanting and didn't try to talk us into a different look. He seemed confident in his ability to complete the task and had other good reviews/ photos to back it up. Scheduling, communication, punctuality, and professionalism were all outstanding. He and his team had quite the attention for detail and went the extra step to make sure everything was done properly. They talked to us throughout the project so we could make adjustments as needed. They even spent quite a bit of time pulling up old (and massive) roots from a tree that had been removed some time ago before pouring the concrete. And when I went to go "tell on ourselves" after I wasn't paying attention just for second and my dog had gone to explore the freshly poured concrete, they said that it had already been fixed (literally within minutes) and that it wasn't a big deal. I know a set back, even for a few minutes, can be frustrating and they handled it so well. The cleanup was probably the only part that wasn't 100% (splatter here and there, one piece of wood blocking a vent was not removed, existing mulch/rock out of place, one gate not cut/rehung), but we have realistic expectations and know we'll have to do a little cleanup after every project anyway. The most important part to us of bringing in a professional, is that the job that they are hired to do is executed without any shortcuts and that it ends up being what we asked for - and ASR absolutely delivered. The concrete looks amazing and they captured our vision perfectly. I have already referred them to several friends and will use them for design clients moving forward.

I contacted Octavio at ASR Concrete through Thumbtack and he responded right away. We set up a time to review the job, a patio replacement, and he was on time and provided a very competitive quote that same day. He provided me with drawings which my HOA required for approval. We were set back by the October snow but Octavio was proactive in getting it rescheduled. He and crew were on time to start the work and completed it in less than the estimated time. Cleanup was complete and all work was done as promised and it looks great!

They came to do the concrete work all in one day. They had a team of seven people that broke it up cleared it out and then the concrete which was colored was poured that day. A great experience and I definitely recommend them. It was a fair price and they worked really hard.
