Introduction: I like to work with individuals who are highly motivated and committed to results. I've been in the training business over thirty years, started with power lifting coaching in the gym I created in the basement of my home. I am certified in personal training by NESTA, and certified as a fitness nutritionist. After 25 years, in the business world and fitness training in the evening ! eventually quit my corporate career to do fitness training/ coaching full time. I really enjoy working with those who are committed to their health and wellness. That means personal training, fitness and nutrition coaching whether in person in the Greater Akron area or online.

It has been several years since I worked out with Jeff after I moved away, but the workouts he designed for me are still going strong. My original ask of Jeff was simple. I need a weightlifting routine that I can complete in 45 mins and would make an impact even though I would only commit to lifting 2x a week (I run and bike on off days). After all these years, I still use the same 3 routines twice a week that Jeff developed for me that I rotate every 6-8 weeks. At 55, I am still fit and can even keep up with the big boys in the gym (ie. rep bench 225; dumbbell curl w/45s). Understand that when I started working out with Jeff, I thought I knew what I was doing in the weight room. I did not! Jeff created programs that adjusted to my progress. My schedule is still hectic. I know that if I was forced to dedicate more time in the gym, I definitely would have had to drop my workouts long ago. With these short and simple workouts at my disposal, how can I slack off? I consider myself a fitness focused adult, and I owe that to Jeff.

I began working with Jeff in early 2008 I was referred to him by my mother’s business partner. At that time I was 34 years old and very overweight, taking medication for acid reflux and high blood pressure. As an athletic youngster, I was in pretty good shape but as I got older the weight started to pile on and I found that my health was in danger. I decided to make a commitment to myself and to Jeff; a commitment to myself to improve my health, and to Jeff to hold me accountable. I felt that I could let myself down, but for some reason it is hard for me to let others down, and making that commitment to Jeff helped me in my commitment to myself. We started the program Jeff developed for me slowly, and progressively increased reps and weights accordingly. Jeff also gave me some simple guidelines in eating healthier; I began to read and understand labels and servings sizes. After a few weeks of proper diet and exercise I began to feel so much better and that motivated me even more to continue to work harder and eat healthier. Before I knew it I was four weeks into the plan Jeff created for me and my clothes began to loosen and my motivation was now full speed ahead. I couldn’t wait to hit the weights and treadmill because I was loosing pounds and inches weekly. Before I knew it I was in tiptop shape wearing clothes I never though I would fit into. People noticed my transformation and they themselves became encouraged too. I was helping people better themselves through my own hard work, which made me feel great. My health had changed so much that I didn’t need to take any medication, my doctor was thrilled and so was I. Jeff helped me save my life and I am grateful to him for that. I would recommend him to anyone; he changed me inside and out, he can help you too.

I live in Michigan and use Jeff's online coaching service and phone consults. I have gotten amazing results...lost 25 pounds in under three months. More to lose and so thankful I met Jeff. He is an amazing fitness coach.

Jeff worked with me for 7 years as a trainer from my mid 40s to early 50s when I moved. I was not athletic when I started. With his guidance, I gained strength, endurance and speed, and I gained a new found confidence in my self and in what my body could do. I learned too that any day can be made better by a good day at the gym, and that even a hard workout where I felt like I was pushing through mud made for a great sense of daily accomplishment. I highly recommend Jeff if you want to change your body for the better, have fun while doing so and know that you are working with someone who walks the talk and can keep you safe and growing in health.

Jeff knows how to create a fitness plan! I appreciate his years of experience and knowledge - his "fitness without injury" method is the real deal.
