Molding or baseboards,
I had to think about this because I wanted to take into account. Our porch was badly rotted and falling apart. It was becoming dangerous. I didn't have the money to hire a carpenter so I hired a handyman. I was NOT expecting carpenter quality work just something stable, strong and a bit bigger than what we had before. I GOT ALL OF THAT. What took the rating down was tardiness (came at 9:30 for a one day job) and then left the area around the porch full sawdust and scrap wood after saying they would clean up. Upon inspecting the deck it looked like ran out of wood so some places looked 'improvised.' The stair treads were too narrow for stringers so they need to be replace. I also asked him to come back and do some capping around the new posts that were installed (not part of the original bid). Over all I'm happy with our new porch and it does make me smile(as opposed to giving me heart burn like before it was done. Here are some pics...if I can get them load.May 25, 2017Verified

Deck or Porch Repair
Michael and his crew did an excellent job repairing multiple areas on our wooden deck that were rotten and needed replaced, and then painted the whole deck. We were very pleased with the results, the cost was reasonable, and they were punctual and completed the work in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him for any deck repair job.Jul 2, 2018Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? If a customer is looking for flooring, I like to get an idea what they are looking for and bring several samples along matching there descriptions as close as possible. If they seen the product and have a name.. I can normally get that product at a good price. When sealing... I walk the asphalt surface to be sealed.. we edge and clean off the surface... fill cracks ,repair damages, and, block oil stains before sealing. For decks.. we check the layout... do a rough drawing to locate steps and locations and designs. We verify material type the customer is looking for to build a final price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I grew up in a family working construction and demolition. I've helped build houses from the ground up, built many decks and eventually tied into a flooring company as well. I worked with several great installers and began installing myself and with them on the side. I been working with my seal coating macgine for several years now and love the variety of work.
