- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to speak with potential clients about their final photography goals. I tend to be very goal-oriented and specific. By envisioning where they want to end up, we can determine where to begin. For me, collaboration is key, and I really enjoy that process. Working together to create a final product we're both proud of is incredibly fulfilling for me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? While my Bachelor's Degree is in anthropology, my professional career extends over a decade. During this period, I have been closely mentored by a successful retired Navy Photojournalist and worked under several editors and directors. I've received the harsh critique that many photographers, unfortunately, miss out on today.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was fortunate to know at an incredibly young age what I wanted to do for a career. My mother bought me my first camera as a child. Immediately after graduating high school, with direction from my mentor, I began my first job as a photojournalist. I would move on to hold other staff positions and secure many freelance jobs.
